The name Ultimate Smashing comes from two words that describe a lot about the design and development sphere of web medium. In a short term, Ultimate means Development and Smashing means Designing, which Nareg Kirkian likes to do on a daily basis.

A Bit About Nareg Kirkian
An Armenian decent, a passionate and experienced web designer and front-end developer, is involved in the creation of standards-compliant and accessible websites. Holding a B.A. in English Literature and Arts from University of Aleppo, Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and is currently working as an executive manager including creation of web content and development in Syrian Web Solutions since 2005, a creative website design and development agency based in Aleppo, Syria.
His primary concern is the creation of visual appeal, standards-compliant, semantically code and accessible websites. Nareg works with XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and MySQL. His work environment includes: Windows XP, Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator, Firebug, Web Developer tool, HTML Validator, and many design and development-related Mozilla Firefox add-ons/extensions.
